§ 701. APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL.

The City Attorney, City Clerk and City Treasurer shall be appointed by and may be removed by the affirmative votes of at least a majority of the total membership of the City Council; provided, however, that the City Council may by ordinance or resolution delegate to the City Manager its vested power to appoint and remove the City Treasurer. All other officers, department heads and employees of the City shall be appointed and may be removed as elsewhere in this Charter provided.
